Warm and sunny, here is the dragon hights. This is a very clean place that is the first place you see in the Weyr, and Hold, being that the hold is to the left, and the weyr is to the right.

| Feeding Pens
This is an off shoot of the Hold's Beasthold. It's full of the best animals for the dragons to eat.

| Candidate Barracks
Here is where the candidates live. There is two halves, one for the males and one for the females.

| Community Area
This is a place where pretty much anything can happen. Games, family meetings, Weyr announcements, and much more. It's a huge room with many off shoots for everyone. This is the first place Visitors are sent to.

Here is where the Weyrlings live with their hatchlings. It's large, and quite sterile. The building is made out of rock.

Healers and their helpers work here. This is where everyone on Western goes if wounded. The Healers here are superb.

| Drummer Hall
This is the comunication's hub of the Western continent. Every hold has a radio, and the Drummer hall is where the messages come in. The name is a throw back to when they actually used drums to contact one another.

| Wher Hall
This is in the deepest part of the weyr, where it is dark. There are plenty of places for Whers and their Keepers can live. Not much light is here, but it can be added, though not to much for the Wher’s will not like the light. The Queen Wher, Darsk, resides in the largest area, where her ‘keeper’ the Weyrwoman Lokin visits her. She is a wild Wher, but lets other’s claim her eggs.

| Diamond Lake
A beautiful, crystal clear lake, with a sandy bottom, though it's deep. Deep enough for the largest dragons to swim in, and dive into . It's got a beautiful river going off of it into the planes below the mountain.

| Silver Pond
A man-made pond in the Gathering Fields. Its a clear, crystal blue with a sandy bottom. Used for swimming in Spring and Summer, it freezes into beautiful, crystal like ice in the winter.

| Western Continent |
| The Black Hills
Wild animals are here. Felines, Canines, and many other kinds that the Beast Crafter's say actually developed here. This is a hunting ground, and is very dangerous. The hills are bright green, and no one knows why it's called The Black Hills.

| Lively Forest
This is a bright and 'happy' forest, though it seems that every time a runner goes through there they come out wounded. No one's sure exactly what's in there, but it's avoided with a passion.

| Beastholds
Not all beasts can be bread at the Dark hold, and so here is where many beastholds are. Dragons can hunt here, but only the weakest of the lot.

| Cotholds
Cotholds are what supply the Darkened Weyr and Hold. They have a tith, but their life is fairly fine. They have all the useful tools that the Hold is putting out.

| Western Lake
Here is a large lake. Many dragons come here to get a bath. It's a community site for everyone.

| Foul Mountain
This mountain is quite small, and mainly just a look out. It's simple and can be seen from far off.

| Shipfish Cove
This is where the Dolphineers work. All dophineers work here, though they can live anywhere all over the continent.

| Black Lagoon
This is a large beautiful lagoon. But a laviathin lives here and anyone who gets to close to the beach may be killed.

| Rocky Island
This island is great for watching the sun set (or rise), and for young dragons to learn to fly off of. It's over the ocean so that if you fall, it doesn't hurt as bad.

| Eastern Watch
Here is where the watch dragons are. They can see everything. It is the highest point on the continent, and incoming dragons can been seen. (as well as anything else nasty)

| Power Outlook
This is a set of cliffs overlooking the eastern ocean. The land here is beautiful, and many weyrholds can be found here. (At least for those who don't want to be in the Weyr it's self)

| Demasked Island (6 sub-boards)
This island looks like a huge rock, jutting out of the sea. It's about a half a mile wide. Little does anyone know that there's an entire network of caves inside it. There's multiple entrances and they are well hidden. The largest dragons come through the Dolphin hole, below the water line.

| Elsewhere on Pern |
| Fort (4 sub-boards)
Fort is the second largest, and oldest city on Pern. The hold is the living quarters of the Lord Holder and family, as well as the elite of the city. Much happens here, and the Fort Holder has the most influence.

The part of Benden City where the hold was, is now where the Lord Holder and his advisors live. The city sprawls down and around the mountain. It is a beautiful city, and the largest on pern. The dark side if this city is hidden away, but it's there.

Ruatha has become the largest center of runnerbeast trade in the world, and half of the year is made out of tents. The permanent residence are small, and the old size of the hold, is only a small amount smaller than the old. There is no slavery in Ruatha, and many a rider comes from Ruatha.

Southern Boll is a great city, built for trade with the sea, the south, and the west. Many a person will pass through this city on their way to other places around the globe.

The city of Ista is a warm place, sunny, and always full of light. The sun shines most of the year here, and the old come to live here to live out their lives.

Southern is a very large city. The trees, and resources of the Southern continent make this city a very rich, and very powerful city. Second only to Fort Hold in richness, the Southern Hold has a great deal of power.
