It was a beautiful morning, just after the Greeting of the Masses, and Lokin was feeling good. She’d managed to get away from D’mar much quicker than expected. She’d found that acting as if he didn’t exist helped. What ever V’riy thought, she wasn’t about to stop being scared of him. She had good reason to fear males that were taller than her, bigger, and could take what they wanted. It was a more natural fear though, and she dealt with it. Up on the hights her two queens sat, watching the other dragons, either landing, flying, or just enjoying themselves. Lokin knew it would be a good day. She was wondering the market trying to find something interesting to do. The races hadn’t started yet, and she wanted to have fun today. She’d decided that because this was a Hold Gather, she was aloud to goof off for the rest of the day, or next four days, as she would, the dragons could easily feed themselves, and while they would need to be oiled it didn’t take all that long. The children who’d been teasing the Watch Wher had decided to do what ever she needed, and Athenath and Dianath didin’t care who oiled them as long as it got done, so the children had taken to taking away her jobs. Though she did at least do the sensitive parts of her dragons. She sighed happily as she walked slowly, looking at everything around her.

A’der walked around after all he was still fairly new here and had decided to go to the gathering since he had nothing else really to do. Isoredth was busy deciding to flirt with the other dragons which left A’der all alone anyways. With a sigh he looked around hus eyes stopped on Lokin, but only for a second. Sticking his hands in his pockets he leaned against the wall his eyes watching people as they passed. He wasn’t really sure why he was here, he hated dancing, thought the races were just dumb, and he didn’t really buy things. You’re there to get to know others besides sulking in your Weyr. Isoredth’s soothing voice came into A’der’s mind. He smiled slightly as he realized how right his Black was.
~~
Zyika walked along the edge looking at everything her eyes seemed to glance around as well. Hadeth walked behind her as proud as can be. The Black didn’t seem to mind the looks she got as she followed what was hers and hers alone. The dragonet seemed to walk with such grace that it almost looked as if she was floating on air. Zyika looked back at her dragon a smiled softly, she had never felt so happy in the world.
Mina walked towards the other Weyrling and her Black. Mina thought the girl looked lonely even if the girl was with her Black. Nimnarth seemed to be bouncing right next to his, but shockingly wasn’t saying anything.
~~
T’lar was excited for the races and to perhaps dance with a few people. He smiled as he say Lokin and walked over to her, ”Good day Weyrwoman Lokin. How is your day?” He asked with a smiled. He was in a good mood today, nothing like how he was when D’mar had slapped Lokin.

The short blond could feel the extra eyes on her, but she didn’t care. The two goods up in the hights hummed as they watched below. Trusting other’s to care for theirs. Athenath had an agenda, and it included socializing with the bigger male dragons. Dianath was just along for the ride. Lokin heard a voice and turned. ”Ah! T’lar. It’s Lokin. Unless on official busness which this is not. How are you?” she asked with a smile at him, slowing down, but still walking. She caught site of A’der, and smiled a bit at him. ”How is your Kaith?” she asked the older man.
Occ// Wow. Fail.

T'lar nodded and chuckled, "Sorry use to formalities." He laughed a bit then shrugged a little. "I am good, so is Kaith. Kaith is too bust flirting with the other females." He added with a slight nod. Hus eyes flickered around slightly, "So what are you looking forward to today." He asked talking about the gather. He was yet to be sure of what he wanted first. He looked over and saw A'der curious to if the rider would come over to talk. "So what have you heard about the new rider?" He asked curious about the gossip. He had heard many things, but was unsure of what was true.
A'der's eyes flickered back to Lokin as she smiled. He tilted his head but made no motion to move from where he was leaning against. Are you really going to just stand there all day. 'Perhaps.' Amusing The conversation between the two often ended like this. Usually his dragon often butted herself into his life, often when it involved the opposite sex. A'der just sighed slightly as he closed his eyes crossing his arms figuring if he looked unapproachable then others wouldn't approach him.

The young woman shrugged. ”It’s fine. Just unusuall to be called anything but Lokin, or Harper Lokin. So I settled on Lokin. That way I can’t be confused.” she said with a grin. His candid answer about Kaith made her laugh softly. ”My girls decided that wanted to be ahead of the pack and have chosen to mingle with the rest of the larger dragons. I keep wondering when they are going to get bowled over by an overly excited dragon.” she said with a smile. She shrugged. ”The music, as always. I know there’s good food here. The Runnerbeast races should be interesting.” she said quickly, thinking.
She glanced at A’der again, and angled towards him. ”Beyond that he’s protective of Whers, and is anti-social? Not much.” she said as she got closer to him. ”Rider A’der. Why don’t you join the Festivities? Sitting there glaring isn’t going to be much fun. Get something to eat, or a bobble for your dragon.” she said, glancing at T’lar, and then at A’der.

T'lar chuckled as she said it was unusual to be called anything but Harper Lokin or Lokin. "I believe they shall be fine. They are very smart queens after all." He added with a smile. He nodded slightly as she mentioned what she was looking forward to, his eyes flickered back to the Black Rider as she talked of him. Protective of Whers? That was different. His thoughts seemed to mingle together. His bonded is gorgeous Kaith seemed to pipe in about Isoredth.
A'der opened his eyes as he heard the weyrwoman's voice. "I am not glaring." Yet you are being unsociable. A bobble would be lovely. Isoredth's voice reached not only A'der's mind but she had allowed Lokin to hear her as well. A'der grumbled slightly annoyed by his dragon. Dear one, I told you to go, now go enjoy. A'der sighed, "I have never been to a Gathering..." He muttered slightly as he glanced over at Lokin and the Blue Rider. T'lar seemed to have a goofy smile on his face, but A'der paid the rider no mind.

She smiled. ”Thank you.” she said in answer. She was more intent on A’der though. He seemed nice enough with the Wher’s so maybe he’d be nice now. ”you were. I know you were. Trying to keep people from mingling with you. Come on. Have some fun! I can not be the only rider/weyrling who’s desperate to get out of the weyr and mingle with normal people.” she said mock sternly. She laughed at the Black’s words. ”Where As I was to every gather at Fort Hold. And though it’s hard to compare a Gather in the north, to a gather here, they have their similarities. Now what do you think your’s would like the most?” she asked easily. ”And you to T’lar. What do you think Kaith would like?”

T'lar watched the two talk then he shrugged when a question was thrown his way. "I believe he would love anything that is in his words "sparkly"" He said with a chuckle. He looked at A'der, "Now how can you have not been to a Gathering." He asked the Black Rider already slowly walking as if to see if the group would slowly come. His eye's glanced from Lokin to A'der wondering if they would just stand there.
A'der glared at the other rider as he sighed, "Isoredth kicked me out of my Weyr." You were starting to get to lazy. Time for you to get to know everyone 'Can I please come back?' No, mingle. With a rough sigh A'der stood up straight instead of leaning up against the wall. "I hate how they believe they always know what is best for you." A'der mumbled while running his hand through his hair then shrugged, "She said a Bobble." He then looked at T'lar "Avoided them, too many people."

”Oh does he like the sparklies than?” she asked with a slight grin. She liked these two. The blue rider was amusing, and A’der was… well… Needed to get out more. She smiled a little relaxing. Well this was easy. Much nicer and well… she liked it better… than dealing with D’mar. She saw T’lar starting to walk away, and did so as well. ”Come ad A’der.” she said with a grin.
”My gold’s tend to know what’s right. And they are kind of your soul brothers/sisters. They know how you feel. Listen to them. I mean really. And a bobble. Well what KIND? A bell? Jewl?” she was enjoying herself a great deal, and relaxing. Something she hadn’t been able to do since she was younger. Now now she could relax. That was helpful.

T'lar chuckled, "Yes he does. His weyr is quite amusing to see." He shook his head slightly and smiled. The blue rider looked back to see Lokin following and a very reluctent A'der grumbling as he slowly began to walk along. He nodded slightly to Lokin's comment. "Dragons tend to do that." He added with a nod. "It's common for Kaith to be just like me though." He said with a chuckle.
A'der just shook his head as he reached out for his. jewel or bell with either do. Was all he could get out of his huge Black. With a sigh he shrugged, "I guess we'll just have to look." He shook his head slightly he didn't know what his dragon would like, he was never good at picking things out. "What about your two Golds?" He asked Lokin.

Lokin chuckled. "Sounds like a Dragon to me." she said with a laugh as she walked. "Dragons are like their riders and vice versa. A dragon tends to show the true inside person though. Makes me wonder how I impressed two." she said with a slight laugh. She looked around her as she moved happy. "The Twins have told me I am not aloud to buy them anything, though Dianath seemed like she wanted a prisim. WHY i have no idea why but i'll get one for her." she said with a grin.
occ/ Sorry.
