he stated, glad he was on the ground as he sent the thought, as Jareth slipped away from him, not even waiting for I'zon to settle. He couldn't stop smiling as he watched his Brown waddle over to the pens, already picking out which ones he wanted.Land here . . . We can start this large Lesson here and have more than enough room, I'zon stated as Jareth circled above the fields, his Brown mindful of those who were working. Of course, the herdbeast scattered, causing the Brown to whimper at the sight of the meat escaping him. If you want to hunt, go on. I'll be fine here on my own,
With his dragon busy, I'zon set out to fix up the area for the next Weyrling Lesson. It was going to be large, with seventeen Weyrlings in the lesson, he would have to be on his toes and keep an eye out for trouble makers and laziness. Neither would be tolerated by him, or by the new Junior Weyrwomen, as there were two new Juniors and no Senior Weyrwoman in place. Sighing, he began by burning a small fire and placing some stick around the edges, darkening the ends of the sticks to where he could use them to draw on the hard earth. Once the sticks were ready, he used them to draw lines on the Earth, basically making several passes at figures eights on the ground, in various patterns.
Satisfied that his drawing made no sense what-so-ever to the average Weyrfolk, I'zon turned back to Jareth, finding that his dragon was perched on a rock, feasting upon a selected beast. While your pigging out . . . Call the Weyrlings . . . All of them. The Lesson will begin soon. Snorting at His, Jareth barely even lifted his head before he let loose a calling bugle. ALL Weyrlings need to report to the fields. I wish to see you dance, he purred, snorting at his own remark, while I'zon simply placed his head in his palm and mentally counted to ten . . . . Then twenty . . . And finally to thirty, calming himself before he faced the Weyrlings. When he lifted his head, his face was red from where he tried to keep himself from laughing at his dragon.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
All Weyrlings must attend, unless there is a reason as to why you can't. Those Weyrlings from the second clutch, just pretend you already had the beginning lesson about feeding and oiling.
