Lokin had been wandering around the Weyr and Hold, bored. She’d been shut out of ANOTHER session with D’mar, and the rest of the high riders. He’d decided the gold weyrlings didn’t need to know what was going on. Mirrath had told Athenath to ‘piggyback’ and see what was going on, and after they were done, Lokin would get to know what was going on, but until she was actually the Weyrwoman she wasn’t gonna get to sit on those sessions. Which frustraited her.
So here she was, wandering about, knowing it was quite safe for her, being that D’mar was off. She found herself in the darker parts of the Weyr, when she heard a scream, that was quite dragonlike. And then laughter. From children. She growled angrily, as she passed forward, the large gold dragon back in the weyrling Barracks lifted her head to growl. Lokin came around the corner to see a small group of children throwing rocks at one of the watch-whers. A gold. She snatched a hand that was about to throw a rock. "Excuse me. What do you think you are doing?” she asked calmly, anger showing only in her green eyes. The children froze, except for the two that were standing between the children and the wher. One girl and one boy. All were under the age of 12. ”Well?” she snapped.
”W-w-weyrwoman! W-we w-were just playing around.” said the boy who’s hand she was holding. She reached her other hand over and snatched the rock out of his grasp. ”By throwing rocks at a Watch-Wher? Don’t you know that Whers are relitives of the dragons and firelizards? That they have just as much use as a great Gold, or Green?” she growled. The boy looked down. ”Yes Weyrwoman.” She dropped his hand. ”He started it, and the rest of you followed! Do you really think that makes you worth a dragon? Hm? Teasing something that can’t see? Or get away from you?” she’d noticed the glowbaskets that two of the group had been holding. ”Idiot children.” she hissed, as she moved past them towards the two who were glaring defiantly at the group. ”Who are you two?” she asked her voice soft. ”Alisa and Markan. We heard them teasing the Wher and we came to help. Daddy always says to be nice to all creachers!” said the girl defiantly. Lokin nodded, dropping a hand onto the girls head. The boy nodded, so he hadn’t been dragged along as well, he was just shy. Hm. She knelt beside the wher, which was whimpering. ”Sh. They won’t hurt you. Sh.” she told it softly. It warbled and moved a bit. Six eggs were at the Gold Wher’s side. She blinked at it. ”Ah. I see now. Alisa, Markan, would you please go get another adult while I deal with these criminals, and tell them that one of the Wher’s has layed a clutch?” Both children nodded, eyes suddenly bright. ”Yes Ma’am!” they cried running off.
With that Lokin stood up and turned to glare at the children, boys and girls both. ”you have all discrased your family. You will first go home and tell your parents what you have done, and then you will come back here, and help me, Alisa, and Markan to get this Wher, and her clutch settled. Go!” she snapped the last word, and they all bolted away. Mine, aren’t you being harsh? asked Dianath. No. We can’t have Cruel Children at this time. Expecially ones that could impress a dragon, or Wher. As it seems we’ve got six whers on their way. Hm. The golden wher hummed at her, bobbing her head, her large eyes watching the Weyrwoman, though Lokin couldn’t truly see, she stayed put waiting for the children to return, and possibly someone else who could help her direct the children.

Occ// So this ist he First Wherling Clutch. It’s the Dark Clutch, and there are six eggs. Dragon Riders, Candidates, and even Dragons themselves, can bond with these six eggs, though they won’t hatch for a bit. When the time comes I’ll put up the list of six eggs. Anyone come and visit.
