The end of the moonsoons for the West was the begging of the fall. And it was a bad storm that a dragon came flying into the bowl. His silvery hide managing to stand out in the rain. Mine! This is horrible! Why didn't you check the sharding weather! came the cry from the dragon. The rider didn't answer as he helped guide the big silver down into the bowl. As soon as they were below the hights it was less wind and even drier. He could hear the suprise from the watch dragon, and his warning to His. Then there was messages sent from dragon to dragon. We are Tarith and Z'law! We mean to harm! cried the silver as they landed, heavily. Out of the night came a small black dragon... or what looked like it. It landed heavily besides the sivler. It was small. A dragonet. Not quite the size of a red wher.
Then popped in two firelizards. A gold and a bronze. Both chittering at the short man still mounted. "Oh do shut up you two." he muttered as he got off. The black dragonet nuzzed him whining and showing him her annoyance. "It'll be better here Diana, You'll see. So will you Faris and Poet. So shh." he told them reaching up and touching each on the head as they landed on his shoulders, and of course the large black dragonet stood over him, going on eight feet. She was young still. The silver dragon was looking around. The size of a full grown gold he was impressive with his silver fading to white, and being wet he glisened. The bowl kept the rain and wind out, which was the only reason the group hadn't pelted for the doors.

When the silver caught sight of the small young gold, his wet wings snapped out and he bowed, one front leg out, and his head down. Thank you for the welcome Queen. he said softly. His rider had also bowed though he was standing quicker. He’d heard a bit of the queen’s words to hers, not intentionally… but a HAD couldn’t help but pick up things. ”Thank you Queen.” he said speaking directly to the queens mind. Not something that was usually possible but between rider and dragon. He smiled a bit before turning to the Weyrwoman. ”Hello Weyrwoman Remi. Actually if the stories of your Sr Weyrwoman and the Weyrleader are true, I’d rather meet you first. I have met Lady Lokin before… and if she’s busy she wouldn’t want to meet me at this time.” he said with a quick smile. The silver’s head came up as he continued to watch the queen.
It was then that the black dragonet growled and moved between hers and the big gold. ”Diana!” both a mental and a vocal bark at the dragonet brought the young creatcher to behind him. ”No. You are not aloud to do that ever.” he snapped at her. The queen on his right shoulder chittered at her, and the yellow eyes went gray with sadness, though he didn’t respond to it. The little bronze firelizard took off from the short man’s shoulder and flitted up to the large gold, and chirped, then looked at Faris. She warbled a bit and he touched the gold then flitted back. ”Sorry. Poet’s a bit curious, apparently Diana’s a bit… Protective. I’m Z’law and this is Tarith, though If the watch dragon did his job you already know that. This is Faris, as she’s reminding me to tell you. And I and mine are requesting to enter your weyr. We were… kicked out of Ista weyr… mainly because we have ‘very forward thinkings that are not for the weyr’” his voice matched the weyrleader’s perfectly, and Tarith snorted. More like we are dangerous because we want to do things they won’t let us! he snapped, shaking his head.

”Making an impression is she? For a laidback harper she sure causes a whole lot of trouble.” the way he said it made it sound like a joke between them. ”And of course the new Weyrleader is probably frustraited. Lokin never liked having idiots in power.” he said simply. Golds? Ask about … what is it two then? he shot at Tarith. It wasn’t that he couldn’t do it himself it was more polite. ”Twins. Dianath and Athenath. The seinor is Athenath. Oddly they have human like eyes. None of the normal whirling. Interesting. Wonder if it gets passed down.” came Tarith’s quick reply.
Diana humfed and curled up next to the large silver dragon. ”Yes but she knows better. Though I guess a nine month old dragonet isn’t going to know everything yet.” he said with something like laughter in his eyes. He liked laughing. He watched her at the words Kicked Out. He didn’t like lieing. ”I was kicked out because I was ‘to progressive’ In other words I liked making things that the Oldtimer’s would have been proud of.” he said simply.
Dianath turned her attention to her clutch mate. ”Mine says to not worry about Z’law. Let him in. She will be down at some point to meet him. And tell him he’s welcomed to speak with any of us. Can he really speak with any dragon?” came the quick and susinct reply from the larger twin.
”No problem. Though I doubt Lokin will say no… We were friends at Ista…” he didn’t know if Remi knew about her fallen dragon Barkth. He was new so he’d let the shorter woman tell if she wanted.

He sighed. ”She hit someone?” he asked with a slight smile. ”She’s… Not rational during arise. At least from what I can remember.” he said with a slightest of blushes, though it was easily corvered. He eyed Diana as she relaxed and preened at the word Dragonet. ”She’s… Interesting. Like a dragon… Only worse sometimes. Being that she can’t talk.” he said ruefully, and she chirped and moved closer to him, standing already seven feet, she lowered her head to touch his head. He rolled his eyes and patted her chin. She closed her eyes for a second. ”X’lan? Sounds like… Xilan. So the boy became a rider? And Dragonet eggs? Hm. Interesting. I’ll have to look.” he thought quickly and asked quickly, a slight smile on his face as he patted his dragonet.
Dianath answered quickly. Once he has time, please ask Tarith to come and meet me. I’d like to see the dragon of a friend of my rider. she requested. And then pulled away. She may have not been the seinor queen but she was second only to Athenath, and only because her sister rose first. She was the larger, and know she was sure she’d always be larger. Ha HA!
Z’law grinned. ”Dear Dianath. He will be willing to go and speak with you as soon as we are settled. Thank you for taking interest.” he said softly to the queen, who felt almost like Lokin or Barkth but not. He smiled a bit. His dark eyes sparkling a bit as he let her go after her surprise. ”Thank you Mizneth. It’s wonderful to be accepted. And HAD’s are useful to a weyr. Mainly because we can tell what’s actually going on. There’s only been a few Weyrwomen and even fewer rider’s who’ve actually been HAD’s.” he said with another bow. The silver rolled his eyes. Mine is an idiot. Please ignore his big mouth and larger ego. I am sorry for that. the silver spoke to both the queen and her rider, with a dragonlike smile. Z’law actually glared at him.[/blockquote]
