Dragonrider
General Information
Character name: C’ran
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Appearance:
C’ran’s a pretty tall man with a lean figure; he doesn’t have a buff frame like a smithcrafter would, his muscles lean more toward the lithe. Like his figure, his face is long with a pointed chin, a pair of thin, frowning lips and stubble that he barely bothers with. His hair is a mess of dark brown that curls over the collar of his shirt and with a pair of dark brown, near black, eyes. He has the look of a mellow person who doesn’t seem to care much about what’s going on around him. His nose used to be straight, save for the crook at the bridge of his nose where he’d gotten into a fight.
Personality:
C’ran is quite the opposite of what his appearance makes him out to be. He’s not laid-back and easy going, but rather he’s a pretty serious fellow and difficult to sway. If he has one idea set in his mind, he won’t be abandoning it anytime soon and his stubborn nature can be called infamous around the Weyr. He’s not one to gab on all day long and talks only when he feels like he needs to, which means no endless rambling from C’ran; he doesn’t enjoy it when he’s stuck with someone talking endlessly either and it can clearly be seen on his face. Close-minded, he doesn’t accept new ideas quickly and doesn’t think that females should be riding dragons save for the Golds. Panicking is not in his agenda and he’s rarely in one of those moods, having little similarity to his serious expression that he often wears. When angered, he holds grudges against anyone who managed to piss him off and being C’ran, it’s difficult for him to forgive others and when he is in one of his foul moods, he can make said person’s life very miserable. Unlike his father, C’ran thinks before he dives in, and with his quick mind, he usually comes up with an answer, though the success rate is up to fate.
History:
C’ran had been on the road to becoming a Harper, a life his father led during his time at the Southern Hold. He’s an only child in his family and is often spoiled nicely enough. Because of his father’s influence, he grew up thinking much like his father; his paternal guardian was one of the men set in the old ways, that women were not meant to go any further than either impressing a Gold or the kitchens. His Harper father trained him in the basics of music, teaching him how to play on the gitar and the pipe.
As a child, he’d never been one to be too curious and preferred to stay close to his parents and learn there instead of running around outside. He was quite the serious child, having little reason to smile at anyone save for his parents and was prone to standing in his spot, quiet as usual. Preened for a Harper life, Cierov had every intention on following his father’s footsteps. He was a careful child, making sure not to get into things he couldn’t get out of, but he was at times rebellious if he felt that the situation was unfair. His father was soon transferred to Crescent cover Hold and he followed and it wasn’t long before he was searched out and made into a dragon candidate at Southern Weyr. He impressed bronze Olariath and abandoned his ideas of becoming a Harper; though he still plays the gitar every now and then, he’s not too serious about it. After turns of being a rider at the Southern Weyr, he volunteered to transfer to Dark Weyr. His reason for this is unknown, but it seems he’s intent on starting fresh and fixing his fatal flaws.
Goals: At the moment, he just wants to do a decent job and get on with his life.

Dragonrider Information
Dragon name: Olariath
Dragon color: Bronze
Dragon description:
Olariath’s a dark bronze with hints of a lighter bronze color spreading up the fingers of his wings, legs and around his eyes. He’s a rather large bronze, but certainly not the largest; his wings are big, but rounded over long like the colors below him. Built more for stamina than speed, Olariath is certainly a good example of just how strong a bronze is. He has a stocky frame, well muscled and with a long tail and a shorter neck than usual.
Dragon personality:
Unlike his rider, Olariath is pretty laid-back and clam, preferring to stay out of a conflict only when necessary. He’s the opposite of his rider in some ways in that he’s less stubborn than C’ran and more open-minded than him. Because of his flexible mind, he prods his rider to relax every now and again, which is a good thing for C’ran who seems intent on the old ways. He doesn’t talk as much, a trait he picked up from his rider, and only speaks when he’s spoken to or when he feels the need to. Olariath enjoys a good joke and prefers company over being alone, unlike C’ran. Overall, it’s pretty easy to get along with Olariath, much easier than his rider.
