Lokin was tired of the Benden Rider’s. She really was. They were driving her insane. The idiots were provoking her riders. Though Jazz’s reaction was bad. She had no right to react that way. Attacking? Good thing X’lan had swept in. He could deal with dragon and human just fine. And had. For a nineteen year old he was smart, and fast. He wouldn’t be leaving the weyr on her watch. She knew he was doing what he loved. She grumbled as she stopped in the hallway and just stood still, breathing. And relaxing. Calming herself down. How dare they.
This was her weyr, not theirs. They had no right. At all. It frustraited the small woman. She didn’t like being undermined like that. And the fact that V’ktor ahd to be there just made her more angry. And Jazz. By the egg, what was she thinking?

Athenath sent a quick thank you to Sadrith and turned her attention to her rider. Mine? Sadrith’s Rider, V’ktor has hurt himself. You should go to his weyr. He’s writing. Why is he doing that if he’s hurt? Lokin grumbled and pushed off from the wall. She started down the hall way. Because he’s a male? that brought a chuckle from the small gold. The gold was up in her own weyr, watching the sky with some amusment. Benden dragons were leaving. Not all, but quite a few of them were winging their way out of the bowl.
Lokin didn’t even knock, and just slipped into V’ktor’s weyr, crossing her arms. She could see the ice. ”Why are you writing when your hurt?” she asked, her voice ever so slightly sharp. She was annoyed, and it came through her body language. She walked over and snagged the pen from his hand. ”Come on. It’s not a good thing to hurt yourself more when your Weyrleader.” she took a step back, towards the door. There would be no arguments here. He was going to come with her.

Lokin leveled a rather annoyed look at V’ktor as he spoke. She crossed her arms with the pen in hand. ”Which is why your icing it? Do I have to drag you to X’lan? He can check it over. And I’ll finish those. It’s my job to make sure the Transfer’s are fine. YOU get them after I’ve said OK, then you get to decide where the dragons and rider’s go in the wings.” she said quietly, admonishing him for taking her job away.
”And I will finish them.” she stated, moving forward again, and grabbing the skins, lightly, and with a practiced hand, so as to not damage or splotch them. ”You have no excuse. Go. Now.” her glare was angry, and her body language. Why did she care? She wasn’t really sure, but she was. She glared at him, though worry flickered in the back of her eyes. ”Landing wrong can mean breaking your arm.” she added, now the worry coloring her voice.

She was working up a retort when V’ktor stood up. Then fell with a his. With a practiced hand she put the skins back on the table and crouched beside him. She touched his shoulder lightly, all anger gone. Worry now clouded her face. She watched him carefully, her blue eyes worried. Then he spoke.
”All the time you need.” she murmured, as she helped him stand up, carefully. She’d been dealing with much worse injuries’ for the last two years, but this one worried her the most. She pushed her confusion at that aside, as she helped him. Dianath? Tell Carenath that we are coming, and that V’ktor’s hurt.” the big gold complied. Is he alright? Lokin moved carefully, hoping X’lan would get here by the time V’ktor had decided to actually move. Broke his arm. I think it would be better if X’lan comes here. Just for the sake of V’ktor’s ego. After all, most weyrleader’s don’t break themselves in the first couple days. The chuckle from the gold comforted her.
It was bairly a moment later when the dark man walked through the door, a red bag in hand. ”Hello Weyrleader, Lo. I was asked by Dianath to come directly here. And yes Lo, Dullarth, and Jazz are fine. Or will be. Broken arm? Not sapposed to jump from Fifteen feet Weyrleader.” the man had a slight smile as Lokin backed up. He stepped in, looking from a distance. It looked broken. ”Sit. Slowly. It look’s like I’m gonna have to set it. Grabbed that stuff on the way here.” the man said simply, helping the taller man to sit. He could feel Lokin’s worry, but didn’t say anything as he went to work.
”It’s gonna hurt when I set it, and your going to be impaired from doing most things, including flying thread. It’s a good thing we don’t have thread for what is it… three months?” he glanced at Lokin, who nodded. ”Everywhere else has got it. We get a break for six months of the year.”

The dark haired healer nodded as he listened. ”I doubt she’d kill you. More like ignore you until it’s fixed.” the glare that he recived from the blond only made him laugh. ”You know it’s true.” He and Z’law could get away with teasing her. And Remi. And she just sighed in reaction to his words.
Then it was X’lan’s turn to sigh, and shake his head, as he moved about, getting things ready. ”Bronze riders. You all think that you can’t get hurt.” just then the large Silver poked his head through the opening of the weyr. He hrumfed softly at the larger bronze, and Slipped in next to him. He was followed by Kerowin, the gold and silver dragonet towering over everyone but the dragons. She chirped at the hurt human and touched him with her tail, before moving towards the red bag. She moved it around easily, getting things out.
Kero moved then to Lokin’s side after putting things out on the table, and nuzzled her softly, calming the Weyrwoman, a bit. The silver was currently speaking with Sadrith, calming the older and larger dragon. Sad? Don’t worry to much, If at all possible, It only makes your rider worry, which, mine tells me, isn’t good for a healing bone. the silver was standing up, but he showed humility before the top male of the weyr. Though he knew Tarith could and probably would bowl Sad over if the bronze ever got out of step. Tarith was like that.
After the tall man spoke again X’lan nodded. ”Lokin? Those skins can’t stay there, and You don’t need to be here. Go.” The last was said a bit forcefully, and Lokin nodded, grabbing the papers, and heading out the door, keeping herself calm. She practically ran to her weyr, where she put the paper’s down, and sat on the sands, next to her twins. Worried.
X’lan sighed rolling his eyes at her, reciding back. ”Well you have a few more moment’s Weyrleader. And the names X’lan. If you can’t tell, I’m the Weyrhealer. Though There’s other’s, like my twin, who help. I just get to do the hard stuff.” he said with one of his charming grins. At nineteen, he was oddly serious, tough sometimes the goof came through. ”Kero. Good. Thank you.” the dragonet went from touching the door, and sniffing around the weyr, to helping X’lan. At two she was very easily distracted, but full grown. Her wings were folded along her back. She herumfed softly as she looked at the break, then up at her friend. ”Yes. That is a break.” he muttered before he finished what he was doing.
Then with quick movements, he set the bone, splited it, and wrapped it, all in about two mintes. (though the setting it was much much faster). X’lan nodded to Kero as she handed him the hardening clay stuff. Though it was better than that. He eyed the Weyrleader. ”I’d advise nothimg more exciting than walking down the halls, and writing with your other hand. And I mean that.” he gave the taller man a rather fierce look. Kero added a hiss, and Carenath just kind of staired at the pair as if they were insane. Kero blinked at the silver as he admonished her, though she didn’t care. She gave him half of her attention, the other half on the man before her.

X’lan just snorted and went on with his work. Dragonlust and fear of storm clouds? Right. Show off. He went about his business easily, just listening. not your fault. Though I don’t know what you could have done to stop it. the silver said simply.
X’lan looked at V’ktor again as he spoke about Lokin. ”But she can deal with it. She’s seen a lot worse.” if V’ktor wanted to know anything about her he was going to have to ask. X’lan was NOT going to get yelled at for blurting her story out. And he knew she tried her best to keep it quiet. After all, if they knew she’d been broken before the twins, there would be trouble. More so from D’mar. Who thankfully didn’t know.
”Six weeks. Maybe more. It’ll all depend on how willing you are to keep yourself healthy, and not use that arm.” the healer said easily. He moved to put things away as Kero hummed softly, watching him carefully. ”Though I doubt anyone would believe that Lokin broke your arm. She brused D’mar’s jaw, she didn’t break it, and that was a kick. And I doubt Remi would do anything like that either. But then again, D’mar’s a snake. Darkened has always known that.” he started putting stuff in his bag, and closed it easily. He smiled a bit at the Weyrleader’s words. ”V’ktor it is then. And if you need anything else, just asked. I put some fellis on that, but not to much, you do need to know when your over extending it. And I’m serious about not doing anything that could hrut it more. Walking down halls is the most I’d like you to do, though I know you’ll ride Sadrith.” he turned to the bronze. ”Keep him from doing to much to that arm. I’d rather not have to patch him up again.”

The silver dragon slipped out of the weyr, followed by Kero. The healer nodded. Oh he didn't hate the Benden rider's, but he'd perfer if they were gone. He'd heal them either way. He just...w as a bit biased with knowing Lokin. "D'mar's a snake. A smart one, but a snake. Beautiful and mesmerizing. Easy to do. Darkened thought him great to, until the whole problem with the Weyrwomen." he said simply.
He grabbed his bag and nodded to the man. "And the ones that want to stay will." he smiled a bit as he headed to the door. He thought about telling Lokin, but decided to let the bronze rider relax with out having to be the shining Knight, which he seemed to feel he had to be. Idiots in love. He smirked a little as he turned away. Then the dragon spoke to him. He turned with a nod, and smiled at the gold flit. "You are welcome Sadrith. And You might want to let Athenath know what's happened. Just for... safty's sake." The gold after a flight was a bit feirce, expecially about Lokin, and her feelings. He slipped out the door, and headed for Lokin's Weyr, deciding he should do a check up on her to, because she looked a tad off.
