With the horribly hot weather rolling in, S'ven found himself outside more and more, unable to stand being cooped up in his weyr. . . . Even though it was so much cooler in his dark . . . cool . . . secluded weyr. He whimpered as he lay, almost draped across Jelmanth's foot. "Its so hot, Jelmanth!"
he suddenly whimpered, barely even causing a stir in the dragon, who was lounging in the water of the lake. His feet were being lapped at by the water, but he was save . . . for the moment. Little Tsarina was resting on his stomach, eyes watching the fish swim around Jelmanth's feet. That was another reason that S'ven had been outside the past couple of days. Tsarina had been acting funny and whenever he tried to go in, save for at night, she would get snippy and go for his ears. It seemed safer to just stay outside. Suddenly, there was a flash of pain in his gut and S'ven sat up, grunting as he placed his hand on his abdomen. Lifting his hand, he found pinpricks of blood on his palm, while he heard splashing in the water. Looking down, he found Tsarina holding a small fish in her claws, greedily sucking the blood from the poor creature. By the time she went for the second one, S'ven had it figured out, his little girl was Rising. "Guess we don't need to call anyone," he stated, figuring the males of the Weyr would find his little one. With two fish floating belly up, and a third joining them, Tsarina suddenly shot into the sky. As she turned in quick circles, leveling out just shy of Jelmanth's head and moving away from her big green sister, the little green firelizard let out a challenging bugle to all who wished to try their luck at catching her. Thus, began the little green's Rise.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

A bronze, and a brown popped out of no where. The bronze hissed at the brown. But the brown didn't care. Warf and Poet were side by side, and the first to respond.
The bronze knew he wasn't gonna be able to flip and twirl, expecially for a green, but still. it was a chance. He'd been twarted by his own mother in her rise, he wouldn't be here. He roard at the brown, the deep chocolate brown already after the green. He dived for a fish, blooded it and followed.
Warf warbled, bursting out in song, and then he dived into the water blooded two fish and was up, long before the bronze was. He hissed and snapped as his wings carried him after her. She was beautiful. A wonderful green! He'd sing for her!
Oddly enough Z'law, and D'rien had been chatting when, out of the blue, both the flits had disapeared. They looked at each other and sighed, deciding to not follow.

A silvery blue popped form between just above the water. Blaed was ready for this flight...sort of. His wing had scarred where the other blue had struck him, leaving silvery talon marks on his wing. They would not hurt him now...or ever again. Daemon had made sure of that... He had been sleeping with Jasper, but he desided to just up and disappear. Jas was pretty ticked that he had lost his scaly pillow, but had shifted his head and gone back to sleep. The large blue flew down to snag a fish from the water, blooding it in midair before rising to join the others. He crooned to the glittering green and beat his wings. He was ready this time... he swears...
Songbird on the other hand, woke from a sound sleep with his dragon when the little green called. He knew that this was his chance and the lept off Tyranith's head and popped between. Reappearing above the water, he dove to grab a fish. Getting one in his needly talons, he ripped the head off and blooded it quickly. Tossing the dry body back to the waves, the tourquisey blue beat his long wings to join the small flight above him. Sure he had flown a queen...and had injured the silvery blue in the process. He was proud of that and that gave him the confidence to fly this pretty green.

The first to arrive was a bronze and a brown, both which caused the twirling green to croon in happiness. Both seemed intent on singing for her, both strong and neither deterred by the other. The next to follow was a red. A red!! Tsarina almost went between in fear, but the little green had to much wind under her wing, to much fire in her blood. She may fear the Red dragons that roamed the Weyr, but maybe the red firelizard wouldn't be that bad. She started to level out as the red joined their ranks in the sky, noticing that another had joined them. Two blues joined them in the sky, which brought a hiss to the green's call.
It seemed all who wanted to give chase had arrived and that gave more power to her wings. Five males all for herself. Puffing out her chest just a bit, Tsarina tucked her wings to her side and dropped from the sky, bypassing all the males that had just joined her flight. She crooned to each and every one of them as she dropped, snapping open her wings as she neared S'ven and Jelmanth. Crooning to Hers, she watched as the male simply reached out to her, waving her back to the sky. Dominating most of the time, it seemed lust struck a cord with the green, making her yearn for Hers permission. Now with it, she let out a rather unlady-like bugle and flipped over, back winging away from S'ven and out across the lake. Let the boys follow, she would give them a flight and only take the best for herself.

Songbird and Blaed fought for position in the chasing group, dipping and diving to try and get close to the sparkly green. The silvery-blue was being less agressive, focusing more on putting on a show rather than attacking the other teal blue. He had his eye on the prize. Songbird did something similar, crooning and wheeling to try and get the Green Queen's attension. (FAIL...i know...but im holding up the line!)

Seeing as I have already held up the line for so long, I'm just going to go ahead and end the Rise.
The Flight wasn't long, but Tsarina must have done something wrong, because she was already beginning to feel heavy and tired. Spinning away from the water and lifting herself up, she saw all her suitors close at hand. Though, no matter how much she fought it, her eyes always came back to one form flying behind her. Shaking her head, it seemed the green was displeased with her natural choice, her mind wanting another, while her body screamed for just one.
Rising straight into the air, she suddenly dropped back, wings tucked, neck straight and fell from the sky. As she dropped past the gathered males, the back of her claws reached out, lightly scraping against Drift's hide, accepting him, but she quickly withdrew, as if shy and uncertain. After dropping through the gathered males, she flared out her wings a little, slowing herself, waiting for her mate to come and get her. She had chosen, and though she seemed a bit uncertain about her choice, she stuck with it, actually calling out to Drift to come to her.
