L'civer strowed into the weyr heights, his dragon flying above him. He had to get out of that weyr before he broke something. He had been so fidgety every since last night, he had already chipped his favorite lapharp from knocking it over. He needed to move...he needed to play. So he had come up here, to play in a place that people rarly were.
L'civer-Mine, Misenth and Hers are up here. Do you wish to play in solitude, or say hello? The tarnished bronze said softly, circling down to land near the gold. L'civer sighed as he looked up from his feet. There in the sky, were a little flit and a tunnelcat playing with eachother. He heard a soft pop behind him, and his three flitted onto the scene. Big Ballad called to his little blue son, while Songbird and tiny red Forte called out in a playful tone to see if they could join the fun.
L'civer then shifted his gaze to the great gold and the woman in the crook of her neck. Remi was a beautiful woman, but the Harper had never really had a chance to talk to her. He put up a hand and waved to the woman as Tyranith touched down behind him. He strode across the rock and stopped a respectful distence from Remi and her Queen. "Hello Remi, Mizneth. It's nice to see you ladies today. I came up here to practice a new score on the harp. Are you up here often?" L'civer said, the lilt in his lovely voice almost playful. He knew he was a flirt, and he liked it that way.
Tyranith stopped just behind his rider and the bronze dipped his green-tinged head to the Queen. Lady Mizneth, you and yours are looking very fine today. The dragon sat back on his haunches like a canine and turned his head away, his normal shyness getting the better of him. He had gotten much better since leaving Benden (where the poor dragon had be bullied for not being like every other bronze), but he still was having trouble talking with other dragons outside of Risings. He was not bold enough to go and seek out companionship and he was usually just brushed off to the wayside of dragon social-stuff. The tarnished bronze kept his eyes on the Bowl below, not daring to look the queen in the eye, or even admire her pretty hide any more than he had already.

L'civer grinned as the gold rider adressed him. He had seen how she was reacting to the Benden Riders as of late, he was wondering if she would even speak to him at all. He shifted his harp under his arm and walked closer, listening to what Remi was saying. He gave her a warm smile as she said that her dragon had forced her to come up here.
"I have found arguing with Tyranith is like arguing with a mountain. He is not going to move or give in for anything when his mind is made up." His voice held a warm lilt that he ment to help calm the Queen rider as much as he could. L'civer did not mean any harm to her or her dragon and he welcomed the conversation she offered. Mine... Tyranith said, embrassment coloring his warm mind voice. He ducked his head and looked at the ground. The bronze rider placed a hand on Tyranith's head and said, "You know I don't mean it, Tyranith. Sort of..." Tyranith hummed a small laugh and butted his rider affectionately. L'civer looked at his dragon with a soft gaze and thought about how much he had changed in the last few months. He himself had been sort of in hiding as of late. Since the Benden Riders were now waiting like vultures over a dieing animal for Mizenth to rise, he did not want to get in the middle of it. They already were calling him and his dragon deserters on top of the emotional harm they had dealt his dragon before they left. He did not count himself or his dragon Benden anymore. Tyranith and himself were Darkened now, through and through. They felt accepted here, and it had done wonders for his life-mate. Tyranith was brave enough now to Chase, something that he never would have even thought about doing at Benden. So everything was in place. They had found home... L'civer snapped out of his thoughts when Mizenth spoke her little joke and he responded with a hardy laugh. The laugh lit up all his features, showing the light and friendly Harper boy that he was, not the Bronze Rider he was exspected to be. " Well, I'm glad your not a Wher, Mizenth. It would be a shame to have your lovely rider hidden in the night." His little flirt was said with a twinkle in his eyes, saying that he was kidding...sort of... L'civer smiled agian as the Queenrider asked him to sit with her. He let out a small bark of laughter as her dragon commented on the biting remark. He gave the dragon a winning smile and said, "Thanks for the warning, Mizenth. It will sure to be careful." He came and sat down near Remi, folding his long legs up under him indian-style and laying his harp on his lap. He looked at the woman that was curled into her gold's neck and said, "I was just joking, Remi. You have a wonderful dragon with a sense of humor. I know you will only bite me if I deserve it. I just have to warn you, Forte will not be happy if you bite me. He DOES bite." He said, lifting an arm while pulling back his sleeve. There on his arm were fairly fresh tooth marks from a tiny firelizard. He smirked and fixed his sleeve. "He thought that I was not feeding him fast enough this morning, so he gave me a 'nip' of encouragement." L'civer smiled at Remi again and asked, his one hand lightly brushing the curve of his harp, the other on his knee. " Would you like me to play a tune for you? I know that most of the dragons have heard me play, but I'm not sure you have. Tyranith asks me to practice on the Sunning Rocks during the warm months for him and the others." Ballad and Forte chirped back to Omar and flitted to fly around him playfully. Ballad dwarfed both the younger flits, but he was a 2 turns older than they were. Forte chirped to his clutch brother and dipped to play. Songbird saw the tunnel cat hiding near Mizenth and the friendly blue want to go see what was up. He landed near the critter and cocked his head sidways with a questioning cheep. Tyranith moved slowly behind L'civer, stopping to lay down just behind his rider. He rustled his tarnished wings and plucked up the courage to look at Mizenth as she spoke to him. He ducked his head in a shy way, tucking his chin to the curve of his neck and replied, I apologize, La--...Mizenth. L'cvier and I are doing alright... How are you? The bronze cut himself off in the middle of his speech, stopping himself from calling her lady again. It felt weird to call a Queen by her name alone...but what Mizenth asked, he would do. He maintained his head-position and mustered together the courage to do something that he was nervous about. He was not bold enough to do it, but His was complemeting Remi with ease...why was this so hard? He hated that he was too shy(or afraid, he was not sure) to talk to and flirt with others like his rider. He wanted to get better at being socal...so he gathered the courage he would need. He focused a yellowish-green eye on her and said shyly, You are looking very nice, Mizenth. He then ducked his head to hide his muzzle behind L'civer, his eye fixed on Mizenth to see what she would do with what he had said. He now was sort of regretting what he said and he hoped that nothing bad would not come of it.

The tarnished bronze was startled enough by Mizenth's words to raise his head and look right at her. Even more suprising was the happly pleasure and approval she had sent with the words. If a dragon could blush, Tyranith would have been as red as an apple. His suprise and shy pleasure flowed into Mizenth as he ducked his head, neck stretched a little closer to the Queen. He thrummed a hum deep in his throat, not responding with words, rather emotion. He was a more emotion-orented bronze, so he let himself relax alittle.
His whole body rippled as L'civer told he he was going to play. His eyes were warm and whirled an excited blue as he looked to Mizenth. Mine will play a ballad for us now, Mizenth. Please, listen and enjoy... I hope you like it... The dragon was excited, but the last part was said with a shy note to his mindvoice. This talking thing was getting much easier. Mizenth was not going to hurt him or make him feel like he was not worth hide...She made him feel like a strong dragon, just like a bronze...the bronze he desperately wanted to be.
Ballad and Forte saw the funny fuzzie on the gold's hip, rolling around and asking to play. They both cheeped and began to flit about the fuzzie playfully, nuzzling when they got close. Not waiting to miss the fun, Songbird took off and flitted around Omar, caroling sweetly and tried to play with the other blue.
L'civer smiled as Remi said she would be happy to hear him play. His smile was very bright as he moved to sit on a rock so he could play in a little better position. "I really hope you enjoy this. I am still working on the lyrics, but I have the melody down." He looked up and let out a short whistle through his teeth. Songbird and Ballad cheeped in reply and flew to him. Songbird went to settle on his shoulder while the larger Ballad settled beside him. Both cocked their heads and waited for L'civer to begin to play.
L'civer gave another rye smile to Remi. "I enjoy writing songs that can be accompanied by my friends. Forte is a bit too young, but he will learn soon enough how to sing. These two are my seasoned profesionals." Whith that, he tapped a beat on the rim of his harp for the lizards and began then set his fingers to the strings. He began a dark melody with a somber, almost scared sound, the lizards harmonizing above the harp in a haunting mannor. This went on for a little while, then the melody changed to a frantic, almost racing beat. L'civer's hands flew across the harpstrings with a skilled ease, plucking out the fast-beat climax, before the melody slowed to a lighter and more happy sound. This sweet melody floated out across the space, flowing like water over the ears. Too soon, the final shimmering chord faded in the air and L'civer lay down the harp across his lap. He gently stroked first Songbird, then Ballad, quietly thanking them for the harmony they had supplied. Their voices were what made L'civer's songs so wonderful. They complemented the harp's sounds and made each note dynamic and rich. He grinned as he looked down and then turned up his face to Remi. "What did you think? Your the first one to ever hear it outside meyself and my Bondeds...It's the story of Tyranith's and my journey... His soft voice faded as the bronzerider looked back to his bronze. The dragon gave an approving nod and shifted his gaze away. L'civer turned his head, a sad smile on his face. He ran a hand along his harp, lightly running his fingers across the strings. This song always made him think about what he and his dragon had struggled through...fought for their lives as well as their honor. He glanced back up to Remi, his face still slightly depressed. " I'm not sure I will ever be able to put words to it... These memories are just too fresh and painful to work with now...or maybe ever..." His gaze fell back into his lap, almost too embarassed to look at Remi any more. He was very uncomfortable about admitting weakness, but he felt like he had to, otherwise he would never be able to forgive himself...
