Weyrwoman Lokin of Gold Dianath, and Athenath
It was at the end of the day after the feast. It was a big thing. Many familys were overjoyed. thirteen eggs hatched. Lokin moved into the dining hall, now changed for a feast. The gold and red dress managed to look not as oppulent as it might have on someone else. Keltia had designed it for her. And she figured now was a good time to wear it, before she might not be able to wear it at all. The dress was a beautiful white, with a bit of gold. It made her hair brighter. She could see that most people were there, and she smiled. It was a good night. She moved to sit at the front table, as of yet the Holder's hadn't arrived, then again they were freshening up. Lokin relaxed as she watched. Two weyrlings hurt, but not bad enough that the dragons hunger was impaired, one squished egg, and one egg that X'lan confirmed would have been like Ruth, if it had hatched. Or if it's own had been there. Interesting. She watched the precidings around her with some interest.
Lilliana of Green Mirrath and Lilion
Lilliana had her son attached to her hip. She was wearing a gold green dress, with her hair up. Her son matched. She moved around carefully, just watching the candidates, now Weyrlings. Her job was over for a while, and she could focase on her son again. he giggled into her hair as they passed Lokin, on their way to the snacks. Things had gone well. And now it was time to focus on herself. Figure out where she stood on her realtionships and on her own emotions.
Rider Z'law of Silver Tarith The rather rogueish bachalor walked in after Lokin, a grin on his face. His black pants and shirt getting attention from much of the female population in the room. he grinned a little as he moved towards the snake bar, not really caring what people thought of him. The gold flit on his shoulder even acted as if she was aloof.
D'rien of Bronze Galifrith The tall rough man walked into the hall, a slight smile on his face. It lit it up, though he was half paying attention. His outfit, wasn't stellar, but it was good enough. He moved around with a grace that belied his nerviousness. He hoped that maybe he'd found his home. But that was yet to be seen. AT least for now.
Occ// OPEN to all who were at the hatching. Enjoy my friends.

L'civer and Tyranith
The bronzerider sat on a raised platform to the side of the feasting room, carfully tuning his best floor harp. He would have had enjoyed some time with the other riders on this occasion, but he had been asked to provide entertainment for a portion of the feast. His tiny red firelizard, Forte, lay curled around his neck like a wine-colored necklace, beady eyes glaring at people. Ballad and Songbird were perched on the top of the large floor-harp, waiting for L'civer to begin playing.
Not long after, he plucked the opening chords to a bright and happy ballad and his fire lizards began to harmonize with the harp. His music floated sweetly through the room, loud enough to be heard, but not loud enough to drown out talking.

Surreal and Ialith
Surreal had slipped into the festivities right after she had gotten her arm stitched up. Ialith was happily sleeping back in their new weyr. She was sort of put off by her new lifemate's apparent disability...The way he talked to her was like that of a young child more than a dragon. She sighed as she mentally checked on her dragon again. He was dreaming of large buckets of fresh meat...how typical... She slipped over to a table that held plates of food and got something to nibble on. Her black and silver flit was on her shoulder, and he creeled for a piece of the meatroll she was eating. She rolled her eyes and gave him the rest of the roll that he gobbled down. She was surrounded by hugery and typical males... Why me? She thought with a chuckle, petting Dusk lightly on the head.

S'ndra, Sandrask and Firoth
S'ndra had left her newly aquired annoyance in the care of her huge silver wher and the pair were happily sleeping in their new room. Sandrask had instantly loved the agrivating little green, but S'ndra was having a harder time adjusting. The green was just so...girly... She spoke with flowery words and had a nasty temper (not too far from her own, but she convenently forgot that). The green was delicate...and S'ndra was as delicate as a herdbeast in a glass-crafters shop. This was going to take a while to get used to... not like there was any real way of getting rid of the little beastie.
In the darkest corner of her heart, she already loved the little green, but the rest of her was refusing to accept it. So she walked over to one of the tables, grabbed a mug of spiced klah and went to go sit in a corner by herself. She was here only because she was forced to be. People were just not her thing. She just wanted to be outside and roaming, not stuck in a huge hole in a mountain. She sipped her klah and watched the people move about with a flat stare.

D'mon and Oth
D'mon was now sitting at a small table, digging into a huge pile of food. He was starving after the hatching. He had spent a long time assessing his life-mate and making sure his deformities did not hurt him at all. He had left the sleeping blue in the care of his dragonets and Mama Jade would tell him if Oth so even grunted in his sleep...not like he could not feel it.
After he had Impressed Oth, he had felt very off balance. He had felt lots of emotions all at once, not all of them his own. He had asked his young dragon to walk infront of Surreal as she left the infermery and he had watched her as he dragon did as he asked. He had felt the flash of pity from Surreal in himself, and that confirmed what had happened. He was an Empath. He had learned about them during his Healer training but had thought that after impressing his flight of lizards, he was not one. But for whatever reason, impressing his dragon turned a key in his lock. If he concentrated really hard, he could feel the strongest emotion of the people he looked at. So he was practicing now, his gold and silver firelizards on his shoulders. He must of looked like a creeper, eyes locked on random people for a long amount of time...but what did he care, this was all so new to him.

Lokin watched everything with a bit of amusment. She wasn't worried. She leaned back when V'ktor wrapped his arms around her she smiled. "Good. Z'law will be going to the Infermery soon. He wants to make an apperence, show support, then he's off, not sure why. I'm glad they both are ok. you haven't missed anything. We've got Benden over there. I already got a 'congragulations' gift from D'mar. it's over there on the table. It looks safe, but I'd rather not deal with it for now. That dragon statue? That's about it." she murmured back, quite happy to stay right there and not move. Lokin laughed at Hero. "You are looking wonderful to Hero. Have fun, don't get into to much trouble please, at least not with them around." she said glancing at Benden, but she wasn't worried.
D'rian caught sight of the beautiful Remi, and grinned a little. He moved towards her. He bowed to Keltia and Remi, both were tecnically Weyrwomen, but he knew the Silver Rider would never make a good Weyrwoman, she was the Tailor to everyone, and he had a pretty good idea who she belonged to. "Weyrwoman Remi, Rider Keltia. it's good to see you here. I was worried that after earlier you wouldn't be here." he said with a big smile. hey he could try couldn't he?
Lilly moved among her old candidates speaking with them, even Surreal, though it was only for a moment as she wandered back to the food.
occ// I just want to remind everyone that this is a HAPPY time, moping will mean I won't post to you. Also, this is a time to make friends, I expect you to. Please don't mope in any way. I fi don't get to you it's because i don't have the muse to do so. After all, Everyone has work to do. So have fun, and DON'T wait for me to post, talk among yourselves and enjoy yourselves, thanks.

Stepping into the Hall, Vivi suddenly felt very open without her Black behind her, but a hand on the middle of her back, light fingers brushing over the pale flesh caused her to turn, ready to snap at whoever dare touch her, but she found herself gazing up into her father's warm orbs. Without even thinking, she reached up and wrapped her arms around her father's neck and hugged him. It had been so long since they had spoken last. "It's good to see you, I'zon," she whispered, before pulling away. She didn't miss the hardened look of his jaw and found that her father missed her just as much, though she doubted she would hear it so. "Shall we then?" she asked, holding out her arm to the Brownrider.
I'zon couldn't keep the smile at bay when his daughter offered her arm to him, though it should have been the other way around. His little girl was all grown up, though he knew for a fact no man visited her Weyr, no did her Harpeth show signs of Rising. It worried him and set his mind at ease all at the same time. "I haven't seen you much," he stated, not liking that there was so much distance between them. Yet, all he get was a brief excuse of drills with the Wing. His daughter, a Wingleader. It brought pride to her heart, yet as he looked out into the crowd, he found another source of pride. Lilly and Lilion. "Please excuse me, Vivi . . . I must tend to some other business," he stated, kissing his daughter's forehead before moving over to the Candidate Master. "Lilly," he whispered, placing his hand on her shoulder and lightly squeezing. His daughter would always be first in his heart, but Lilly and Lilion were slowly worming their way up there.

Sitting off in the corner, heads bent slightly, Greenrider's R'let of Garnath and S'ven of Jelmanth were beginning to raise their voices. Since Impressing Green's from the same clutch, the two had become good friends, and heated discussion, sometimes while drunk and others while not were their favorite pass time. At the moment, heated discussion while sober was their choice of poison and it seemed to be centered around the latest Rises and Benden Weyr.

Shortly after the arrival of the Weyrling Master, W'tior arrived, looking slightly tired but happy. He was freshly shaved and dressed in simple clothing. There was a distracted look about his face, which could only mean that his mind was torn between the Hatching Feast and his two young dragons that should have been sleeping. However, something told him that Thorth had somehow found trouble and there would be a mess to clean up when he got back to his barracks. "W'tior!" he heard, turning to find Vivi walking toward him. A smile passed over his face as she neared him. They hadn't had much time to talk since Vivi had Impressed at the clutch before his and he was glad to finally have some time. "Wingleader Vivi," he called, already moving toward her. However, out of the corner of his eye, he saw someone he wished he hadn't.
Not long after W'tior had arrived, Shanruk arrived, dressed to the nine in deep red clothing, a ploy on his young dragon's color. The young man was already scouring the crowd, looking for someone that would stand out to him, though no one did. Instead, he headed for the tables of food and selected for himself a bit of a snack.

Surreal had been nibbling on more meatrolls(Dusk ripping off a peice wheen he felt like it) when Chaosti poped between behind her. Lady-Mine, Ialith sleeps. It was boring sitting and watching him snore. I came here for more fun. Surreal jumped when Chaosti spoke to her and she smacked into another weyrling that had come by the table she occupied. Dusk flared his black to silver wings(smacking Surreal in the face) and hissed at Chaosti in annoyance.
"Shards, Chaosti, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that. One day you are going to have to rescue me when you scare me off a cliff. Not like I mind free-fall..." She snapped at her bronze dragonet, who was doing his best to look sheepish. Lady-Mine, you ran into the boy next to you. Your being rude. The dragonet said in both their minds, having no issue talking to other people instead of just his bonded. Surreal now turned her attension fully on the boy beside her. It was S'gei, the one who had impressed the silver. She gave him a wicked grin (her inerpritation of an actual smile) and said, "Hey, Im really sorry about bumping into you. Choasti was just up to his tricks again. I'm Surreal...and your S'gei right?" She looked up into the man's bi-colored eyes, which had her sort of intregued from the very start.
Suddenly an arm rapped itself around her shoulders and she let out a breathless shreik and jumped sideways, knocking over the chair next to her, spilling the ocupant to the floor. A chorus of shreiks as the boy's gold and silvers took to the air with her own Dusk to avoid getting squished. "By the Shards! Does everyone make a game of sneaking up on me? I'm really sorry D'mon." She said lending a hand to pull the mand she had knocked over.
As Dusk settled back on her shoulder, Chaosti spoke to the now assembled group. Lady-Mine would enjoy fun and talk, wouldn't you Mine? The dragonet gave her a pointed look and continued without waiting for an answer.Master S'gei and Master D'mon come too, yes? The dragonet waited politly for an answer this time, ignoring Surreal's sigh of fustration. She looked at Nix and Jazz and gave a grin again. "Chaosti is right. I would not mind some chatter." She turned to give D'mon and S'gei a puppy look(she still had that mischivous glint in her eye, it never really leaves) and asked, "Will you?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
D'mon was starled as he was knocked to the floor. He had been intent on watching Lokin and reading her serface emotions and had completly zoned out on his surrounds. He was wearing Healer Green, but it was now covered in a fine layer of dust. He took the girls hand as he got to his feet. He gave Surreal a pasient look before dusting himself off. He gave a shy smile to the others as his flits settled on his shoulders again, chittering at him. "Sure, I could due with a bit of a laugh. Today has been very stressful." He nodded to S'gei and politly waited for an answer. [/size]
