Lokin was working on a piece of music. She was in the common area. Her blue eyes locked on the paper before her. A pen in her hand as she wrote. She knew she was days away from having her baby. She was nervous, but she had to write a song. Do anything. No one was supposed to bother her. X’lan had been animent on it. She was to rest, deal with herself. The baby was coming. She closed her eyes for a second. Then she stood up. No real reason, just she needed to get up. The bronze flit on her shoulder muttered as he had to rebalance. She didn’t care though. She left the papers and pens sitting on the table as she moved off to one of the windows. She caught sight of Athenath winging her way from her weyr, down to eat, then rising up to the highest hights to eat. Dianath was muttering over the sands below, she could hear the dragon being mopy about not rising. She was three. Almost four! She should have risen!
She was comforting the larger twin when she felt her water break. Her eyes whidened and she gasped. Mine? Are you- oh! I’ll tell X’lan and V’ktor. X’lan! She’s having the baby![ she said quickly, then with a tighter band to Sadrith (who she caressed, then went past him to his). Mine is in the common area. The baby’s coming. Athenath said quickly before withdrawing to give her attention to hers, her gray eyes worried as she left the meat up on the hights and moved towards her Weyr. Which was where Dianath flew their’s, informing X’lan of what was going on, as well as V’ktor, though he was more of a second thought, as they were focused on helping theirs.

Athenath was more worried about her’s than what was going on outside her weyr. When V’ktor came she gave a rather happy growl. Her tail whipping around just a bit. The little bronze flit continued to nuzzle his. He was worried. She was not comfortable. He gave the tall male human imploring eyes as he clutched at her hair, refusing to move away.
”I can walk… For now.” Lokin did hold onto his arm though. X’lan stopped her from saying anything else by arriving. He was quick to asses. ”Harmony, let her go for now. Thank’s V’ktor.” he moved carefully. He was a tad worried that this wouldn’t go perfectly. Lokin was a small woman, and V’ktor was a large man. He glanced as one of the drudges came in. The drudge was a minor healer.

Lokin’s reaction of surprise when she was lifted up was about it, before she cried out, though it was softer than expected. X’lan moved closer. ”Bed is fine. Comfort is better.” He said calmly, watching as the Bronze flit followed the queen, he curled up against her, then the soft coo from Athenath had him moving to her head, where she was able to comfort him.
X’lan smiled a bit as she glared at him. ”Nope, no talking. Breath. In. Out. In. Out. Belin, come one, help.” the woman drudge came forward and half curtsied to them as she came up next to X’lan. ”I can help. Don’t mind me.” she said softly, reaching out and touching the blond. The woman was quiet.
-We are gonna jump about 20 hours or so.-
The wail of the baby brought Lokin back to awareness. Which wasn’t so great for her head. She whimpered slightly. Belin had the baby in her arms, cleaning quickly, and X’lan touched her lightly. ”Hey. She’s a girl. Belin Let them see the baby.” he said quickly, before going back to work. She was bleeding more than he’d like. Belin nodded and brought the baby around, holding her out to V’ktor, then slipping over to Lokin to clean her up a bit. The wailing from the baby quieted for a second as she was handed to V’ktor but she was still loud.
X’lan finished what he was doing, and went to make something quickly. ”Lo, drink this.” he murmured, and she nodded, tired. He glanced at the dragons, and they nodded. He closed his eyes for a second, and sent a trendle of what could be thought of power down into her. It would speed the healing. The silver dragon growled, then trumpeted, announcing the arrival of the weyrleader’s daughter.
Lokin relaxed quite bit more. ”Can I see her?” she asked softly, reaching out touching V’ktor’s arm, though she was tired. She did want to hold her baby. But she’d let V’ktor do as he wished.
