X'lan had been out, dealing with someone who'd gotten to sick to get out of bed. Just the flu, but that was bad enough. Of course now the young woman was asleep. Then Carenath spoke to him. Jazz. Get Z'law. I was waiting for this. he ordered the silver as he set off quickly. He came in, with a half smile. He put his things down and came over. "Hey Jazz. Carenath says you aren't feelin' to great. Mind to tell me when it started? Or better yet, what's goin' on?" he said as he started to check her over. If he was right, well... Z'law was gonna not be to happy. At all.

The hansom healer danced back as she puked. He glanced at the woman who came out. Balin again. The woman was becoming extremely helpful. He nodded to her quickly. She knelt to clean up the puke.
He nodded, touching lightly. Damn. Z'law wasn't gonna like that. "Well i hate to tell this to you... But I think you miscarried." he said as he was already moving. Her body ahdn't gotten rid of it, and tecncally it was killing her from t he inside. Keep her calm. Dullarth needs to be contained. I mean that Carenath. Get Tarith if you have to. Carenath sent him a quick affermitive.
Mine knows. It's not good. She's... miscarried, but the body hadn't let it go. Mine will have to... drug yours and essentially opporate. came the silver's voice as Tarith landed next to them. Carenath growled as Z'law tried to get past him. Then Tarith glared at him. The silver knew when he was beat there. Z'law raced inside. And stopped. Balin moved forward as X'lan was working on felis and getting the right dosage. "She's alright, or will be." she put a hand on Z'law, who glared at her, but stayed back. The Look from X'lan was rather annoying.

The largest silver was no match for his large mate. He stayed back till she stopped thrashing and moved forward, touching her side, then flapping his oversized wings open to cover her a bit. More emotional comfort than anything else. He didn't speak as he comforted her.
He was also comforting His. Z'law was frustrated, especially as he watched X'lan work. The man was young, he often forgot that, but as he worked, hard, to clean out the miscarriage, he saw that clearly. Z'law was worried. X'lan moved quickly thought. cleaning, scraping really. But Tarith's mind was close with his, ever a comfort. He felt his two flits and even the black dragonet come up and touch him. Kerowin was comforting the black Dragonet, Diana. Named after Dianath. The huge black bairly fit through doors, but she did manage. She wouldn't ever rise, but she didn't care. Both his bronze and gold flits curled up around his neck, refusing to move, a double necklace almost. Feris hummed softly, her head brushing his cheek bone, as he was let closer to Jazz. He was not fully able to see what was going on. He reached out and touched her cheek. He hadn't been dealing much with her the last couple weeks. With Lokin's baby born he'd taken it apon himself to help D'rien and Remi figure out what to do. They all worked together, though the new Junior Weyrleader needed to figure out his own footing, not everyone trusted him. He was Fort, or Rogue, depending on the story. Either way... Z'law was mentally beating himself up for not noticing Jazz. He'd half taken her for granted. Tarith made a comment about his bachalor status. Z'law mentally snapped at his dragon.
X'lan moved as quick as possible, but it still took a couple hours to fix it all. He was thankful it was all clean now. He closed his eyes. and took a breath. "Done. She'll be a sleep for a while, but everything's out. She's clean. well as clean as can be expected. She'll be weak for a while. I don't advice her leaving this infermery for a while. I'll tell you when she can leave. You can't stay here thought. And I mean that. As a HAD you can stay in contact with her dragon. I don't need to be doing with exaustion. Stay here till she wakes up. A a little after, no longer." X'lan cleaned everything up, and with Balin's help he changed Jazz's bedding and headed off to get rid of the... waste.

Z'law watched the flit. Neither of his moved, and of course Dianath was watching. Tarith kept comforting his mate. His was calming down and putting his shields back up. For a HAD who taught others he was bad at his own shielding... well no. that wasn't true. His shields fell when he was entirely to much emotional. Tarith's own eyes were half gray. Worry coloring them that way. His wasn't quite ready to face the fact that the fetus was his as well. Tarith had no doubt there would be a long flight soon to be had. Once he was sure Jazz was alright.
"Hey love." he said softly squeezing her hand back. He knew that he wasn't going to stop the black rider from doing as she wished, so he helped her to Dullarth's side, and stepped back. He had no idea what to do. His hands clenched. The black dragonet came up to him and nuzzled him lightly, a comfort. The bronze and gold flits twittered softly.

Tarith was rather torn. He couldn't exactly fit in next to the larger black, and there was no way he was going to willingly get his head stuck. He did that once when he was a weyrling, he'd been terrified of getting his head stuck ever since. His mate needed comfort, but His did as well, and though Tarith did love Dullarth, in his heart his bonded would always come first, Dullarth could chose another mate, Z'law could not chose another bonded. It was simple, and a tad sad for him. He cooed to her thought, before settling outside the windows, near her, but more focased on his.
Z'law closed his eyes and forced himself to calm down. "Doesn't mean I should have ignored you..." he crouched watching her, not sure what to do.You've told me this is why you chose to be unattached. Tarith whispered. He glanced behind him, catching the view of the silver dragon's gray eye, watching them. The infermery was big enough for one dragon, and Tarith knew it. He wasn't about to try to fit two large dragons in one small space. "I'm... sorry. I know this won't make it better, but I had to. My entire life as a rider has been living for a weyr, but this one is different, more important. That doesn't change the fact that I did ignore you." the bronze flit danced off of his neck, leaving the older gold. Feris watched the going on's carefully.

Z'law stayed still as he listened. Tarith rumbled. He thanked Dullarth with a brush of his nose against her hide, but didn't move closer. Everyone had to fear something, he just happened to fear getting his head stuck.
Z'law was quiet as she spoke. He could fill in the last two words of that last sentence, and it made him very uncomfortable. There was a reason he was a bachelor. There was a reason the man had shied away from all relationships, still Tarith had trapped him in this one... well not trapped. The silver snorted. "Tarith has always been impressive." wonderful deflection there. He didn't know what to do. He knew Lokin would know, but she was busy. He stayed on his feet, though he was crouched so he was about equal with her. He reached out a hand and touched her leg. "I should have payed attention to you too."

Z'law glanced at the silver who moved just a tad closer to his mate, then held his place. He was not new to the whole mate thing, but His was. He found it amusing actually, how nervous the wingleader was in this situation. Z'law was a tad suprised when she pulled him forward. Ferish hissed softly but stayed put around his neck. "That's my job." he said softly, putting his arms around her. He could see that she was acting.
"And I think that X'lan wouldn't like you to lie." he said softly. "Neither do I. I can tell when someone lies to me. Or hides something. I haven't been a rider since I was eighteen. What's wrong?" he asked softly, keep his arms around her, and lifting one to brush a thumb along her cheek.

Z'law looked at her carefully. "Being spooked doesn't mean you can dodge." he said softly, giving her a long look. He wanted to take care of her... he just wasn't sure how. Which frustrated him. He was all action man. Tarith kept his mouth shut, but it was a close thing. Something about being the hero until it counted. Which would have gotten him snarled at. So his mouth was quiet.
"Woh. Kids. Where did that come from? Uh... I don't think I want to go there either... Uh..." her next words confused the hell out of him. He frowned. "I... uh... Um... How are you feeling?"

Z'law sighed as he held her against himself. He was going to have to explain Desini. That was not going to go over well... then again, she was technically an adult. Black dragon at her side kind of making his point. But still. He was going to have to explain that.
He realized they were on the floor. Bad place to be. He picked her up, and put her back on the bed, then stopped. Blood. He was reaching for Carenath when X'lan came back in. "Tarith noticed before you. I told you to keep her down. She's going to be weak. Already told V'ktor that she's not flying for a while. I don't need to have her coming back here every day. She's staying here for a few weeks. I mean that."
