It was late, as usual, and the leader of Shadow Weyrhold stood before the stainless steel table. There was what some of what could be burnt Thread. She was going over it. again. Her hands were light over it, as she turned it over in her hands. Her blue eyes were locked on it. The thread looked liked burnt bone. She was quiet as she worked, her hair back in a tight pony tail.
The blue robe was standard, she'd decided that it was a good idea to have at least a mostly clean area. All the labs were 'clean'. washed hands, hair pulled back, ect. She tried to minimize the dirt. She knew that everything around her but her table and herself, was dark. The bright lights, which happened to glitch, were making her sweat, but she kept working.
Finally a voice got her attention. Urielth. Mine. You must eat.Come on. Angela set up food for us. Come on.
the small dragon actually fit in all of the rooms in the Weyrhold. He was just outside the light, and he moved his head over her work. She eyed him and sighed. "There is work to be done Uriel. I have to do it! I'm the only one who has any idea what thead looks like up close." she said sharply, but the growl from her green bronze had her moving to his side, blinking in the sudden dark outside the table and surrounding area. The dragon guided her to the chair, and table, and she sat, eating slowly. "It's nothing like I've ever seen. It's dangerous. I'm so close. If only I could get a living spore. Oh i know, it'll never happen, but there's only so much I can get from a burnt crisp. It would be nicer if it was less burnt." she was lost in her thoughts as Urielth watched her.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Uriel and Temperance both jumped as the light flicked on. The green bronze lifted his head, eyes growing red in anger and annoyance. He eyed his fellow dragon. He rolled his eyes. It's dead Azrialth.Mine is not stupid enough to work with living Thread. Urielth gave his a long look. She glared at him.
She turned to look at S'eley. "I sleep when appropriate. There is a possibility I will find out how to exterminate Thread." she said simply. She stood up, putting the napkin on the table, and moving back to the larger table. "What about yourself? You should be sleeping. I am perfectly fine. I have not been out doing physical activity all night." she said, picking up the burnt Thread again. She didn't really look at him as she worked.

The tall man didn't really bother the brilliant woman. She wasn't afraid of him, and she grabbed at the thread before he spun her. Urielth growled softly, moving towards them. A sharp glare from the brunet stopped the small but feisty dragon. She stopped refusing to move. "I am fine S'eley. I don't need as much sleep as you. Statistically, the Alpha males need more sleep than any female." she said turning and glaring at him.
Uriel followed them, forcing his to move with him. "Your dragon does not scare me, neither do you. The fact that there are multiple ways into my lab means you can't really stop me, and who's the leader here?" she snapped at him, though moving as he wanted her to. She glared at the dragon following closely behind them. He fit everywhere. He was about to say something and she just glared at him. The dragon chuffed softly. "Don't you dare." she snapped at the dragon, as she opened her door. She turned and glared at S'eley. "You can't stop me from getting up early. OR from doing my job. You stick to your job. I don't need you to watch over me. I do fine on my own." she said, calmly again. The dragon moved into his weyr, settling on the sands. She glanced behind her at the dragon, who was looking at S'eley in thanks. E tu Brute? she snapped in his mind. The green bronze ignored her. She didn't close the door though, as if trying to decide weather to sneak out or not.

The brunet eyed her friend. "I slept a total of eight hours yesterday." she said sharply. He was annoying. And getting on her nerves. A lot lately. Blue eyes watched him warily. "In fighting yes. Uriel and I found Shadow Weyrhold. Not you." she answered back. Always with the great comeback.
Uriel sighed, letting a growl get at her, and she turned to look at him. Then the door closed as he spoke. She didn't answer as she sighed, and turned moving to her window. "He forgot the window." Uriel moved and she was suddenly very sleepy. She glared at him as she curled up next to him, her head pillowed on his forearm.
Of course as soon as the sun was up she was awake, moving around her weyr, grabbing things to drink mainly. She then grabbed her lab gear and climbed out the window, just to make sure S'eley wouldn't know until AFTER she was in the Lab that she was in the lab. She moved quietly to the lab, slipped in and went back to the piece of thread. Urielth stayed put for now.

She didn't jump though her suprise got Urielth moving. He was quick through the halls, but not quick enough to shut her up. "You should not sleep in the lab. You hate us squints. Give me that." she tugged the box out of his hands and walked past him, already business like. She set it down on a different table, flicking on a light.
"If I had bad sleep, you had worse. I think you should be going to sleep. Now. Get out of my lab. I run on less sleep than you. Always have. Go. now." she turned and glared at him, her finger pointing off in the general direction of his own rooms. Urielth snarled as he came through the door, moved to his area and settled down, curled up. She glanced at him, his rushing in was not conducive to her sanity. But it didn't matter. She turned her attention back to him. "You interrupted important research. The longer I work, the closer we get to exterminating Thread."

She sighed. She wasn't tired. She really wasn't. "I think I know my own body a great deal better than you do S'eley. I happen to know that i could go a great deal longer before I burn out and if you'd left me alone last night I'd have been sleeping now. But now I have to finish my test." she said calmly. watching him. Urielth snorted as the man spoke again.
Mine? I believe you upset him.You don't need to push him away. The green bronze moved to touch her head as the man left. He looked at her carefully. What? Should i go after him? He's wrong! I won't burn out! I haven't in a very long time! The last time was when my family... Urielth didn't respond as he looked her over. You do, don't you! But what would I say hm? I'm sorry?
"Temperance? What are you doing here? Why did I just see S'eley bolt out of here, did you two have a spat again?" that would be Angela. She sighed turning to look at her. "No." Angela smiled a little. "Right. You weren't sleeping, he made you, and now he's annoyed. Wonderful. Sometimes I wonder if you even hear your selves." Angela watched her.
"So what? I should go after him? And say what? I'm sorry?" Angela looked at her. Temp sighed. "Going." She muttered something as she walked out the door. Angela looked over at Urielth. They seemed to speak for a moment. "They might figure it out." Angela said before going to her own work.
Temperance followed S'eley. She caught him outside his door. "S'eley! Wait!" She stopped not sure what to say next.
