L'civer was laying out on a sun-warmed rock, a few sheets of music held out infront of him. He was studying a new song for guitar, even though he usually used only the harp. He was becoming a great harpest. He wanted to one day become a master, but with his Tyranith, he did not know if it was possible.
Anyway, he sat up to pick up his guitar from beside him. He settled the guitar on his lap and set the music down before him. He settled his fingers on the strings and began to pluck out the first notes. He was not too bad at guitar, but every time he knew he had bumbled up a chord, you could hear him curse darkly.
Tyranith was laying in the cool lake, his head laying on a rock not too far from where his rider sat. The rest of his body was submreged under water. With all his recent and trying flights, his muscles were very sore. He had slept almost a full day, waking up to find L'civer not around. He had contacted his rider and flew down here for a good soak in the crystal clear water.
The great bronze hummed softly to himself, thinking about the flight that had just passed. No, he had not won, but he had felt the final peices click into place and he became the bronze he always should have been. He no longer feared the Benden dragons(much atleast) because he had outflown them all. That and he was still trying to figure out the feeling Mizenth. It had seemed so loving...but whatever... He was going to talk to Mizenth...when she was done cuddling with the other bronze...
Mine, You sond like a fustrated wherry. Cursing is not fitting for you. Quiet before someone hears you. L'civer glared at his dragon and put his instrament down. "Then you try it." The tarnish bronze let out a roar/bark of laughter. Mine, if you want to keep the guitar in one piece, i had better not. L'civer let out his own roar of annoyance and went back to cursing at the music while his dragon chuckled. They were quite a sight to see, almost like a pair of old woman bickering about prune juice.

The mid-sized blond moved with easy down to the water. Beside her was a rather non-descript green. Neither dark, nor light, large, nor small, Xen was just... there. The green caught sight of the bronze and twittered... softly. They both knew that just the day before the bronze had gone after the queen. He'd lost to the more... well masculin Galifrith. That bronze was a bit scary. At least in Xen's mind. Scars, and rather large bulk showed him as a fighter. She was greatful he wasn't around her. She'd run!
Mine. That would be L'civier. And it seems they are bickering. Let's see if we can comfort them. there were overtones that made Shannon laugh, as she willingly headed towards the man. he was young, or looked it. Elegant, elf like. He was no D'rien, or V'ktor. "Good day, Bronze rider. Didn't expect anyone down here at this time. I'm Shannon. You?" she'd play it safe for now.
Hello Tyranith. I am Xenikath. Call me Xen. she said as she waided in. The green found the water cold and shivered slightly as she continued moving into the water, before she was fully submerged. She trumpeted under water, sending sound, and bubbles up to the top. Though only the bubbles were audible. She let herself bob up to the serface, relaxing, and letting her body do what it wished.

L'civer jumped when the rider spoke up from behind him. The guitar slipped from his fingers and with a hollow thunk, hit the rock. L'civer was on his feet in a few seconds, eyes flashing in anger and his posture defensive. Who was daring to disterb him right now?
Just a few moments after he glared at the rider before him, his mind caught up to his actions. He blinked and straightened up, a faint blush coloring his features. He was not one to be mean or edgy, but with all these lost flights latly, he had become rather fustrated and grouchy. It was so unlike him, but what was he going to do? He shook his head to finish clearing his thoughts then gave Shannon a small smile. "Sorry, Rider Shannon. I did not realize you were behind me."[/b] He stepped out towards the girl and held out a hand. "I'm L'civer. The Tarnished bronze is my Tyranith. Pleased to meet you and your green."[/b]
Before she could take his hand for a shake his toe bumped the fallen instrament and he looked down in suprise. His eyes went wide and he withdrew his hand to crouch down. He picked up the crafted peice and quickly ran a hand over the polished wood, searching for the cracks he was sure would be there. He muttered darkly to himself about being so stupid as to drop his instrament. His hands finished their examination and he let out a soft sigh. He felt no cracks, just a bit of roughed finish. That he could fix in a jiffy. He looked up at Shannon again but did not say anything, his blush just deepening in color a bit.
Tyranith had not noticed the other dragon's arrival eather, his own thoughts on the Mizenth problem and his body too tired to respond. At the green's greeting, the great tarnished beast let out a roar of suprise. His huge head snapped up and red-yellow eyes bored into Xenikath, a faint growl coming from deep in his chest.
He shook his head a bit to clear his instantanious responce to being startled and gave the green another look. She was not Benden, a little bit of a thing for a green. Tyranith relaxed back into the lake and did not reply. He was not all that interested into talking with females right now, exspecially ones that were this bold and upfront. Tyranith was so used to being forgotten and shy, this sort of rude behavior was new to him... so he gave himself a mental kick and replied. Hello, Xenikath. You startled us. His normally warm and kind mind voice was rather flat right now, a faint irritation could be heard if you listened close enough.
Tyranith looked over to watch his rider as he pulled off something close to his own responce. He reached his neck out to nose his rider. He looked at Shannon with a great eye and said in a slightly warmer tone. Please exscuse Mine's behavior. He has broken and chipped 2 intraments in the last 7 day. I'm apparently part to blame, but he is the clumbsy one. Please exscuse his rudeness.

Her bright blue eyes lit up when he dropped his instrument. She was amused. His anger was obvious, but it seemed to disapait. She found that cute. "Hello Rider L'civier. And I believe he's the only bronze about, so calling him 'Tarnished' Bronze is a bit unnessesary, though he is a beauty." she said with a grin, taking his hand and giving it a firm shake. She wasn't really bothered by much, but then again, she never had been. Her blue eyes looked him over again. "Were you a harper before you became a rider?"
Xen snorted softly at his response. She lifted her head from the water and eyed him. Hello Tyranith. And Mine doesn't mind. We work with the weyrlings. she said with a nodd of her head. Shannon chuckled. Her's was trying to get some attention. Obviously it wasn't going to work out. "Thank you Tyranith. As mine said, We work with the Weyrlings, so your secrets safe with me."

L'civer smiled when Tyranith helped him get to his feet, his hand on the bronzes nose, in the other his slightly damaged guitar. He gave Shannon a sly grin. "On the contrary, I AM a harper. I just have an enormous flit." He patted his dragon affectionatly as his three actual flits flew down to them from where they poped between.
The silver and blue went to go and settle on the bronze dragon, while the tiny red came to loop himself around L'civer's neck like a winged red necklace. L'civer chuckled and gave the red a little scratch before glancing at Shanon again. "So your the new Weyrling Second... Must be quite a job with that Surreal girl.. and all the uh... hadicapped dragons. Those poor blues. Tyranith says the light one is very intelegent, while the other is just... slow. He likes them quite a bit, but we have been a bit too busy to visit. He was cut off by the little red nearly shoving his wing into his mouth. The man rolled his gold eyes pushed the wing away. "Forte here thinks I'm rambling, which is probably true. Please excuse me."
The bronze hummed to the lizards as they settled on him. The blue cheeped and nuzzled the bronze affectionatly before sprawling out over his head. The bronze looked like he had gotten a bucket of paint over his head. He hummed a chuckle and settled down on the rock again, his body spread out in the water. The silver flit curled up around one of his spines and fell asleep. Tyranith closed his eyes and just listened to what was going on.

The blond woman laughed softly. Xen came up out of the water, sparkling. She arched her neck just a bit, flirting slightly. Pretty flits. Mine won't get them, or she just doesn't like them, I'm not sure which. Then again, she's convinced she can do anything she wants. the dragon said softly, watching the bronze with some amusment.
The woman shook her head. "You are a Rider. Who has talents that do not lead towards leading, or being int he open. Music is the back bone of Pern." she said with a half smile as she sat down. "Even a girl who grew up in the Hold knows that." she added. "The blue's are good. One's a tad slow, but I think he'll surprise us someday. The other one, Oth, now he's going to get himself and his in trouble. Surreal can be delt with. Strong hand. Something I'zon can't give exactly. I guess it hasn't gotten around, I'm the Weyrling Master. Not sure how well I'll do." the woman said simply, watching him carefully.
