It was time!
Zhara's head shot up from the bed she had been making. She had been taking a nap and had gotten up to go check on Aria. Not like she was worried about her....but she rarly left her sister's side...and she WAS worried that her sister would get hurt by some mean person. Zhara was her sister's portector and she was the one that kept her safe....
She jumped up, tidied her dress and ran into the common room, where her sister sat. Aira looked up when the silver called for the candidates and set her needlework aside. She was working on a tunic for her sister of a bright red fabric with yellow and orange embroidery. She sept off the bits of thread from her dress and collected them in her hand as her sister burst in. Aria smiled warmly at Zhara, desposing of the scraps into the basket.
"Aria! Come ON! We are going to be late to the touching! Isn't this exciting? I cant wait to see the eggs. I got a peek. but the silver..." Her sister kept on babbling as the pair walked down to the Sands. Aria kept her eyes down shyly, not looking at anyone they passed. She and her sister had been drifting drudges for a few years, so many knew them/ With that they had poeple that felt that they were below them...
Aria looked up to the great Silver mother as they reached the Sands. "Quiet..." Zhara shut her mouth and they both got an eyeful of the beautiful clutch with the glimmering silver as a loving mother. Aria's eyes stung a bt at the thought, but her smile broke through the instant sadness she had felt at the thought of a mother...
Zhara bowed to the silver and said, "Mother Fayth, on behalf of my sister and myself, we thank you for allowing us to come and touch your children. We hope that you will allow us to come and touch now." Zhara waited, her feet shifting on the sand, eager to stroke the gorgous eggs.
Aria looked up at the silver and bowed gracfully. Her voice was not as forwards as her sisters, but she would speak for herself...atleast for this. "Lovely Fayth, your eggs are perfect in every way. I am humbled to be here and ask permisson to go and see the dragons to be." Aria waited to, her eyes on the sands at her feet, shy and meek as ever.
